Big Tex may have donated his boots to the Smithsonian, but he's got some new kicks for the State Fair of Texas. He was welcoming finalists for the Big Tex Choice Awards this summer.

In just one month, we’ll be just one month from the State Fair of Texas. Almost two and a half million people went to last year’s fair, making it the biggest in the country, and at 24 days, it’s also the longest running.

After all we've been through as a society the past two years, I recently spoke to a fella who makes a strong point.
